JACK HAS RETURNED!!
Just a couple days after Jake and I fly into MA, we're on the way to the beach with my dad when we get a call from my grandpa back at the house saying that Jack was spotted underneath the neighbor's porch, not even 100 feet away.
The little bastard, he's been hiding under there for SIX WEEKS! He's extremely dirty and crazy skinny, my poor little guy. He's staying over night at the vet right now to get some fluids back into him, but other than that, he seems okay!
We're all very happy - except Sally, she won't stop hissing at him =/
Also, random interesting story: On the way back from the beach, directly behind us on the highway, a drunk guy was swerving in and out of lanes from one side of the highway all the way to the other with his eyes mostly closed, then preceded to drift right into the ditched median, crashing into it (his mirror and hubcap or something flew off) then drove right back into oncoming traffic - right behind us! It was surreal watching it, like slow motion. Dono what happened to him, Jake called 911 and reported it but we were lucky enough to be in front of it and kept driving.
Anyway, it's disgustingly humid here, I feel like I'm stuck in a pool of body temperature water everywhere I go, breathing feels thick.. it's gross. 91% humidity right now... and it's 2:30 in the morning. Yeah.
p.s. If this computer worked correctly and would let me change my mood icon, it would be set to 'dying of heat exhaustion'.
