I know I have been quite inactive the past month, alot of private stuff going on and upcoming exams, but I will try to be more active again from now on. Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr
Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling :aww:

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^
It'll be my first contest that I've held...EVER! So it's very exciting :3
So, about the theme of the contest. Well whenever I've felt down and blue because I've been slapped upside the head with an art block, I like to wallow in self pity and blast my favourite tunes XD (LOL) It's extremely therapeutic :P and it really does help to inspire me with new ideas :D.

New Account for Photos of Other People?

I'm wondering if perhaps I should make a new account for the pictures I take of other people, and just have this one be for my self-portraits (and my other miscellaneous stuffs)?

My OCD is calling to me, to make things more organized, and I have so many devs on this account. Would it be a complete hassle for you guys to re-fave photos of my lovely friends? I would re-upload things slowly, and also upload some older stuff that I never posted before for some reason.

Lol I'm nice 80% of the time, the rest of the time, I'm dealing with weird people haha! But no, I might have just gone ahead and done it a while ago because I would have had less work to sort out, wouldn't have been such a big task, but otherwise, I'd probably still have checked in with everyone 'cause I like having regular 'fans' or followers! =) Thanks!

It doesn't hurt to make another, do it, why not.

As for deleting the photos here & posting them to the other account, I don't see the need to. I would keep them in the folder you have for others. Place it at the bottom of the stack of folders & only viewable if you go into that folder (make sense). With the new account just begin to post where you left off...

Nope, that won't work for my organizing needs - the whole point of this would be to have my images in the order I want them on my new account and be able to upload older photos I never posted in the correct order (OCD issues), and also get rid of bulk on this account (over 700 pieces on here!).

I think just because you take too many photos of me & are always asked to take more (I have like 4 people telling me they want you to take pictures) it wouldn't be a waste to make your own account for your photography. But if it's more of a hassle to reupload all those photos you could just try to reorganize this? Like a folder specifically for photography and one for you. Idk. You have premium membership this must help someway!
